Arts and Crafts

Mrs. Connie Rodriguez will teach campers about all parts of the creative process. Campers will learn to organize their materials, plan their art, center their minds through yoga and mindfulness, and create freely.  Campers will produce multiple high quality pieces of art throughout the week. A typical camp half-day instruction includes group cooperation and collaboration, art instruction, mindfulness training, body movement (Go Noodle!), and plenty of creative freedom to explore.

Cooking

Instructor Chrissy Cole will guide campers in hands on cooking while creating fun and tasty summer recipes.  Additionally the campers will be creating exciting new recipes that will make their taste buds come ALIVE!  This camp will help your children build a “hands-on” positive relationship with food and cooking all while having a blast! “If they make it…they will try it!” (proven to be true time and time again in this class)!  Your kiddos will have so much fun experimenting with creative recipes while fostering fun & health! Daily instruction includes nutrition information, kitchen and food safety instruction, food history and cultural topics, some body movement via Go Noodle, and lots and lots of creative play time.
